Week 5a - Multi-layered Vector Graphics


Welcome to Week 5!

During this week you will gain more experience using Adobe Illustrator's Pen Tool (P) to draw shapes, only this time you will create multi-layered shapes that contain different fill and stroke colors, to make more complex vector graphics.

PREPARATION PRACTICE
Play the Letter Shaping Game, then do the two task assignments.

Monday's TASK 1 (20pts)
1.) Redraw the shape below.
2.) Set the Fill color to (this hex code value #3A55A5), and the Stroke to (this hex code value #FFDE73)

















3.) Use the Type Tool (T) to add the following text beneath, "CRENSHAW HIGH SCHOOL: ACADEMICS, ATHLETICS, ARTS."
4.) Save and email your Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file to teacher.jwebb@gmail.com.  Include your full name, class period, and title of the assignment within your email.
5.) Export an image (.png) and publish your finished version of the re-drawn logo with Crenshaw's official school colors.


TASK 2 (20pts)
1.) Use the Pen Tool to redraw this "CRENSHAW" logo.
2.) Change the fill color to Crenshaw High School's official gold color.
